Chris Brown Asks For Restraining Order Against Rihanna To Be Lifted

Rihanna's attorneys will now decide if it it's okay for Chris Brown to attend award shows and events that the former couple plans on attending.

Yesterday, Virginia Pop/R&B singer Chris and attorney asked a Los Angeles court judge to remove the restraining order against former girlfriend Rihanna during a progress report. The singer, who was arrested for brutally beating Rihanna in February, 2009, was seeking the order lifted because it reportedly prevented him from attending award shows, parties and public events, according to RadarOnline.com.

While Judge Patricia Schnegg did not remove the order, Chris Brown and legal staff are presently waiting Rihanna's attorneys to modify the order from "stay away" to "do not annoy."

Despite three Grammy Award nominations, Chris Brown is not expected to attend next month's premiere event.

Lil Wayne is working on the highly anticipated Tha Carter IV, and according to his pals, he's going for greatness.

David Banner, who put his production touch on Weezy's Carter III cut "La La," recently gave an update to XXL about Wayne's progress on his ninth studio album, and compared the MC's drive to that of one of the NBA's most successful players.

"Wayne is like Kobe Bryant right now," said Banner, who Young Money authority Mack Maine said will contribute to Carter IV. "You know, as Kobe gets older all he cares about is championships. Wayne is in that zone."

Wayne is certainly making up for lost time since his eight-month prison bid. The New Orleans hitmaker has lent his crackly flow to the remix to protégée Nicki Minaj's "Roman's Revenge," appeared in Cash Money boss Birdman's "Fire Flame" remix video and popped up on DJ Khaled's star-packed cut "Welcome to My Hood." Wayne's lead single from the project, "6 Foot 7 Foot," has already been heating up airwaves, and producer Bangladesh — who also crafted his 2008 smash "A Milli" — said the Cory Gunz-assisted record showcases Wayne's lyrical acuity.

"The overall wittiness is everything I was saying about 'A Milli' when it came to be," Bang explained to MTV News in December. "He freestyled 'A Milli,' and before it was big and before we knew what it was gonna do, we all had our opinions of it. A lot of people loved it, but me being the creator of the art, I didn't see the vision that he had. I think he attacked it as a mixtape. And that was the genius of what he did and it became the biggest thing. The way he approached this one, was everything that I wanted him to do on 'A Milli.' I think he's really focusing on every, every line. It's like he's writing. It's different. It's a whole 'nother level of cleverness to it."

Ladies Valentines day is approaching and I have a question, do you have a boo? Now I've been hearing a lot of new years resolutions where people sayin they doing them, and they aint got time for the nonsense, they can do bad by themselves and I take my hat off to you ladies. With Valentines day approaching i have one question, are you still doing you? or have yall found a boo, because this day is approaching and you dont wanna be alone on that day? Well I have some news for ya...Valentines day aint nothing but another damn day of the week, nothing more, nothing less. Americha has made it into this big special day, but can any of yall tell me the true meaning of it?

Valentines day suppose to happen every so often throught the year, not just one day. so if you're happy your man is being "romantic" or sweet for one day then damn, yo man aint on his game..think about it. these dudes aint being romantic when the suprise you with flowers at the job, or take u to dinner, or buy you something nice. Hell, thats the blueprint. We as men been watching this forever and a day. My I watched my dad, he watched his dad. We see what our homeboys do for their ole ladies. None of the shit be thought out. Now if its done on a "regular" day and throughout the year then hey u might have ya something, but ladies this holiday is overrated and No i'm not single so i'm not bashing the holiday cause I dont have a valentine, but i'm just being real.

We are 3 or 4 episodes in on the game, and I dont think i'm the only one that feel this way, but the game aint all that. I mean the hype from all the reruns is what got me tuned in, but the story line is too predictable and not interesting...ok Malik is full of himself...NO DUH. when he left out the house on last nights episode after he'd been drinking I knew he was bout to get a DUI, Derwin and Med school is on some other ish..Jason part aint really all that, and Tasha Mack, dont seem like Tasha Mack for some reason..I hope it gets better as the season goes on,but right now the writing could use some help...I'LL WRITE FOR THEM..WHAT YALL THINK?

Ladies, I know yall think i'm bout to bash yall but i'm not. For those of you who know me, know I like to talk shit, so here goes. Ok its 2011 and for alot of us, we aint getting no younger, and believe it or not there are quite a few dudes that are really ready to settle down, but the pickings are slim. Before yall get to rolling yall eyes hear me out. For one Most Women (note i said women i'm not speaking to lil girls) standards are TOO damn high, should you settle for less? no, but on the flip side you're not gonna find a man that meet ALL of your standards yet alone meeting a man and expect him to meet your standards within the first year of your relationship. I will be the first to admit, us men, we need grooming. We are rough around the edges so dont expect us to be superman right off bat, thats the first mistake.

I've heard so many women say "he's ok, but if he just had this, or if he didn't have this many baby mama's" or "he aint making enough money for me, i can do bad by my damn self" see thinking like that is what turn us away and make us "act out". A real MAN know how to take care of home, a real man suppose to have the mentality of "i'll go without to make sure home is str8" so if you're dealing with somebody who aint taking car of home, then he aint a man to begin with so you may as well start from scratch. But on the flip side you want a coach, gucci, or louis purse (not that fake shit) or this necklace, or this outfit, or $200.00 plus hair do's. This shit even out, yall expect us to treat yall to all of that, but can't get piece of fried chicken and some greens and come home to a clean house, smh...but its all on us men..we're the problem. Now for those women who do all of the above and buddy still aint acting right, then u just may still be dealing with a boy in a man's body, or a nigga that just aint ready to give up that other lifestyle at that point in time thats when you need to make him choose you or that lifestyle. I know a lot of yall are about to say here he go again, but just hear me out. I know I cant change a lot of yall Lebron haters opinion, i'm just trying to give yall another look on things. For one ever since i've been old enough to comprehend whats right from wrong i've been taught to have my own mind, make my own decisions based on how I feel and whats best for me. i've traveled down a lot of wrong roads and majority of the the time i was following when going down those roads. LeBron leaving cleveland was that man's decisions, yes he could have been an Icon per se like Jordan in Chicago, but have anyone given any thought to this, Maybe he don't care to have that Jordan image, who knows? only he does. From day one all he said he want to do is when, he gave cleveland 7yrs of winning but just not getting over that hump, he even took them to the finals (yes CLEVELAND in the NBA finals) Now I know what yall gonna say

Can any of you name Clevelands 2nd best player (when Lebron was there) you can't, but i'll tell ya. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, he was the most consistant the entire time Lebron was there. yeah u can say Mo Williams, or Anderson Varejo but, Ilgauskas was seasoned, knew how to win in the big game. With that said, has anyone ever gave any thought to why the management never tried to get that man any decent help, and when they had the chance to get a reliable player Amare Stoudamire, they wouldn't give up JJ Hickson to get him. Now i know the Bulls didnt go out and get anybody, but NOBODY on the cavs even came close to Scottie Pippen. Yeah Pippen was a nobody, went undrafted, but Jordan didnt give pippen skills, he always had them, Jordan just brung them out. As did Lebron with Mo williams, and Daniel Gibson. It come a point in time where the player themselves gotta want it, Lebron can't give them that.

Nobody pointed any fingers at Dan Gilbert, it's Instantly Lebron because he left them and they knew it was over. The proof is in the pudding look at their record 8-36. There's no way you can tell me if When joran left the bulls, or if Kobe left the lakers those teams would have an 8-36 record half way thru the season. Hell even Shaq had Penny and Shaq still left Orlando. Do that not make him the Best Center in Basketball? Lebron can still have his Legacy teaming up with Wade and Bosh, he just wont have a Jordan Legacy Who Cares? It all come down to it being that man's decision. Yeah he should have informed them before hand and passed on that "decision" mess, but hey we're all human, yall dont do everything perfect do you? They can say what they want about him, but i see no wrong in what he did besides the previous mentioned.
